LA GRANDE, Ore. -- The Eastern Oregon volleyball team finished up the regular season with a 3-0 victory in Eugene, Ore. against the Beacons of Northwest Christian College.
The win was highlighted by a strong all-around performance and with the victory the Mounties finish fourth in the Cascade Conferenceand clinched a home playoff game against Concordia University. The match will be on Tuesday, November 11th at 7:00 p.m. and there will be some incredible prizes given away to students, including a Nintendo Wii and an ipod shuffle. Here is how it works.
The gates for the game will open at 6:00 p.m. Students who want to be eligible for prizes, including the Wii and ipod shuffle, must be at the game BEFORE the 7:00 p.m. start time. Students who want to win a prize must also be wearing a "Wear Blue Get Loud" or "Wear Gold Get Loud" shirt in order to claim a prize. There will be a limited supply of shirts available for sale and the price will be ten dollars.
All students who show up before the 7:00 p.m. start time AND are wearing their "Wear Blue/Gold Get Loud" shirt will be entered in a drawing for free prizes.
During NAIA and CCC post season play passes are not accepted. Tickets are currently on sale and can be reserved by contacting Sam Ghrist at

If the Mountaineers win their home playoff game, they will then travel to Caldwell, Ida. for the Cascade Conference semi-finals and will face either the College of Idaho or Southern Oregon University. The semi-finals will begin on Friday, November 14th.
