Test Grading Services - IH 008

1. Please use ScanTron form F-1712 for all tests and surveys (the pink form).
2. All forms must be filled out with pencil.

QuickGrade

QUICKGRADE is the fastest program to run. QuickGrade can use either name or I.D. Block (or both). QuickGrade has four reports: Raw Dump, Sort by Name, Sort by SSN, and Sort by Score.  Quickgrade can only use the “AND” option on multiple marked answers.  Quickgrade can use only ONE key.

Please include the following information on your key:

Instructor name, phone #, course #, and the total number of tests to be graded.

Parscore GradeBook

The Parscore GRADEBOOK program has more options and many reports available as cumulative or single test only.

Single Test Reports

1)       Item Analysis

2)       Enhanced Item Analysis

3)       Range and Grade Distribution

4)       Histogram

5)     Class Response Report

 Test Scores (Cumulative or Individual Test)

1)       Student Roster (Name, ID, Score)

2)       Student Roster Without Names

3)       Score Distribution

4)     Cumulative Histogram of all Tests

However, Parscore GRADEBOOK requires a nine-digit number in the I.D. block of each student's scansheet, otherwise the ScanTron stops on each improper I.D. 

The I.D. must be nine digits and must be there. 

You may use the Students I.D. # or a generated number for each student.

Parscore Gradebook can use up to four keys on one test. Gradebook uses the Test Form Area to identify Keys A, B, C, or D. Similarly each student needs to indicate in Test Form which form of the test he/she used.

• Example: A test for GRADEBOOK with two keys must use A and B on the keys and the students test forms.
• Example: A test for GRADEBOOK with one key only needs test form A marked on the key only, it is not necessary to mark the  students tests.

Keys can be marked with multiple marks which can be set to “AND” or “OR”.
Please include the following information on the key of each test: Instructor name, course #, # of the exam, points per question, and the number of tests to be graded.

Fill out the following information on the pink GradeBook Data Sheet in Inlow 008 at the beginning of term.

1)    Class Name and Course Number

2)    Your Name

3)    Number of Exams, Midterms, and Finals you are planning to give for the term.

4)    Term Class was taught

5)    Cumulative or Single Test Only
